We want to minimize the environmental impact of our own operations and help our customers reduce theirs. For us, sustainability means concrete everyday actions: local service, proactive maintenance and recycling at our stores.
Three stores in Suutarila, Konala and Kerava mean parts and hose assemblies can be picked up close to the work site — often while you wait. Store replenishments arrive from the Salhydro central warehouse on consolidated line-haul transports, reducing the need for individual express deliveries.
A worn or incorrectly sized hydraulic hose is a typical cause of oil leaks. A hose assembly replaced in time and correctly matched to its application prevents hydraulic oil from ending up in soil, stormwater and waterways. At our counter we help you choose a durable, long-lasting solution — we don’t just sell a part, we make sure it fits the application.
We sort the waste generated at our stores and warehouses: metal and cardboard are recycled and packaging material use is kept to a minimum. Picked-up products need no transport packaging at all.
Our product range is based on the import range of Salhydro Oy. Salhydro has invested in the energy efficiency of its logistics center and in solar power — around 440 kWp of solar capacity in total on its properties — as well as route-optimized distribution. The same infrastructure serves Hydromarket customers.
We serve the depots, maintenance and technical units of cities, municipalities and public organizations in the Helsinki Metropolitan Area. As an established Finnish company we meet our obligations and provide the documents and certificates procurement units need on request.
